As fentanyl-related overdose deaths skyrocket in the greater New Orleans area, NOLA Detox co-founder and CEO Dan Forman plans to bring “new recovery treatment approaches mixed with New Orleans’ hospitality” to the new 36-bed facility. Now is a better time than ever for the new facility as Jefferson Parish, Coroner Gerry Cvitanovich says he’s beginning to notice a troubling trend. “Our fentanyl-related deaths have been skyrocketing,” said Cvitanovich.
