How Admissions Works
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you call. Our admissions team handles the details so you can focus on getting here.
Step 1 — Call or Text Us
Reach us any time of day or night at 504-446-1111. One of our admissions coordinators will pick up. No automated systems, no long hold times — just a real person ready to help.
Step 2 — We Verify Your Insurance
Give us your insurance information and we’ll check your benefits on the spot. Most calls take just a few minutes. If you’re uninsured or underinsured, ask us about private pay options and treatment scholarships — our goal is to remove financial barriers, not add them.
Step 3 — We Build Your Treatment Plan
Based on what you share with us, our clinical team will recommend the right level of care — detox, inpatient, outpatient, or a combination. Every plan is individualized. No one gets a cookie-cutter approach here.
Step 4 — We Can Help With Transportation
NOLA Detox provides transportation assistance from Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Metairie, Houma, and surrounding communities to our New Orleans and Slidell campuses. Just ask when you call.
Step 5 — Arrive and Begin
Same-day admission is available. When you arrive, our team will welcome you, complete your intake assessment, and get you settled. You don’t have to have everything with you. You just have to show up.
