Driving to Our New Orleans Residential Campus
Our primary residential and inpatient medical facility is located in an expansive, scenic setting at 4201 Woodland Drive, New Orleans, LA 70131. Getting here from Metairie means taking I-10 East toward downtown New Orleans. Then, navigate onto the US-90 Business East across the Crescent City Connection bridge toward the Westbank. From there, it’s a short drive off General De Gaulle Drive East, about 25 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic across the river.
Driving to Our Slidell Inpatient and Outpatient Facility
For clients who want our new, state-of-the-art campus in Slidell, you can travel to 1444 Lindberg Drive, Slidell, LA 70458. This drive takes about 35 to 40 minutes using the I-10 East across the Twin Span Bridge over Lake Pontchartrain into Slidell.

Our Comprehensive Levels of Care
At NOLA Detox, we separate ourselves from other, regional clinics by providing a full, continuous spectrum of addiction care under a single clinical team. This means that clients don’t have to complete a single tier of treatment and then relocate to a new provider. Instead, clients can transition seamlessly through every stage of recovery up to a full year with our highly trained staff.
Medical Detox
For many clients, the first stage of care involves detox, and for those struggling with addictions to substances like alcohol or opioids, this can extend to medication-assisted treatment.
At our facilities, we provide 24-hour supervision during this withdrawal phase, with board-certified physicians and psychiatric nurses available to provide medication-assisted treatment where necessary. This type of care includes FDA-approved medications like Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol to safely minimize painful withdrawal symptoms and help clients reduce the cravings they experience, not just during their initial withdrawal but during the rest of their recovery.
Inpatient Care
From there, clients transition into an inpatient or residential treatment program. For those using FDA-approved medications, this is a necessary step that includes access to individual and group therapy at either our Slidell or New Orleans location.
During our residential programs, clients can step away from local triggers in the Metairie area and from stresses in their home or work lives, and focus entirely on recovery. This provides daily therapy schedules, peer group therapy sessions, holistic opportunities, meals from local restaurants, milk and cookies at night, and fun cookouts.
Outpatient Care
After inpatient care or for those with mild to moderate symptoms, our levels of outpatient treatment make it possible to step down into flexible care that accommodates other personal or professional obligations. Residents in Metairie who, for example, need to get back to work can utilize our outpatient programs with a short commute to our New Orleans campus, getting treatment multiple times per week.
