Dan Forman

Dan Forman is a national expert in addiction treatment center development based in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has built and managed award-winning outpatient, detox, and residential treatment programs throughout the United States. His primary goal is creating facilities that put patients first and provide patients and their families exceptional treatment and support throughout their recovery.

His companies have been named “Fastest Growing in Louisiana” by Inc. Magazine and “Louisiana Addiction Treatment Program of the Year” by the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers. In 2017, Dan was named among local “People to Watch” by New Orleans Magazine. City Business New Orleans named Dan a “Healthcare Hero” in 2022. In 2024, Dan was named to the New Orleans 500, a list of the 500 most influential executives in New Orleans by Biz New Orleans Magazine. His team was named the “Face of Addiction Recovery” in 2023 and 2024 by New Orleans Magazine.

Dan has been involved in driving progressive policies and shaping the regional economy and community for the last two decades. In addition to the numerous executive leadership roles he has held in behavioral healthcare, Dan has been an active member of the community, having served on dozens of boards including the Young Leadership Council, Beignet Fest Foundation, Jewish Community Center of New Orleans, and the GNO Inc. NextGen Council. He is the Chairman of the Board of Gates of Prayer Synagogue and past-president of the Young Leadership Council.

Dan holds degrees from Boston University, William Carey University, and Cornell University. He is a Norman C. Francis Leadership Institute fellow at Xavier University and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and his wild turtles.
